New Ejector Trailer Design from Transport Trailers

In celebration of our 70th Anniversary, we are proud to introduce our newly-designed 2-Axle Hardox Ejector Trailer to the market.

Manufactured for Fulton Hogan, the first of two trailers is now operating in the Auckland region, with the second scheduled for delivery in early June.

Company Director Greg Cornes, alongside our dedicated Design Team, collaborated and worked closely with Fulton Hogan throughout the design process. We’re pleased to report that the trailer is meeting all expectations.

Watch the video below, and keep watching to catch our 70th anniversary video at the end.

Transporting asphalt and other road surfacing aggregates.

Advantages

  • Increased trailer stability as trailer does not need to be raised to discharge payload, greatly reducing the chance of trailer rollover during operation

  • Eliminates the chance of hitting power cables and other overhead hazards

  • The ability to remotely operate gives greater control of payload discharge and overall safety

Key Features

  • Deck fabricated from Hardox 500 sitting on a Strenx 700 Chassis

  • Edbro multistage ejector ram with central stabiliser (72,000kg pushing power)

  • Wireless controller to allow operator to control payload discharge from any location around the vehicle safely

  • The control systems are fully programmable to allow for set-up and calibration of multiple operational and safety parameters

  • Ejector plug fitted with service mode to allow replacement of Teflon scrapers without the need to remove plug completely from deck

  • Auto retractable tail-lights to reduce damage caused by payload

  • Remote retractable rear mud-guards

  • Air operated high lift tail-door, side mounted door trips with auto secondary locks

  • Front access panels for clearing debris and easy servicing of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
